I work next door to Lucid Motors. Prior to the unveiling there was a lot of activity there. Now...almost nothing. Parking lot is empty. Mule barely ever makes rounds. Might be time to rebrand as Lucid VaporwAir. Bummer. They actually had a few real-ish cars driving around for awhile.

I’ll be interested in hearing if the car is more composed relative to the Z06. That car was considered over powered on the track and couldn’t keep it’s backside planted (according to auto journalists...particularly Randy Pope).

Any thoughts on the magnetic suspension in the GT? I know when the IRS mustang first appeared some were a little underwhelmed with the handling.

I think your point about propping up sales in some cases is valid for sure. However, there are still a few automakers out there who don’t have viable EV’s yet...so one could argue the incentive should still be there. But...it has been many years that we have had the incentive so maybe at this point those automakers…

I agree with you broadly. However, the incentive does help the industry move along in terms of electrifying. At some point, the credit should go away because EVs should be conventionally competitive (as you pointed out). What I’m not sure about is whether or not now is the time.

Yes..awesome. Let’s be real...some of the best moments in car shows are not when the hosts drive the cool cars...It’s when they drive the weird cars. Like in Top Gear when they drove the Reliant Robyn. Or in comedians in cars getting coffee when they drove the Fiat Jolly.
