It’s no Prius, but I average 32.5 mpg in mixed driving with mine, regardless of what the EPA rated it at. It has one of the best manual transmissions on the planet, and Car and Driver gave it a perfect “10" in the Fun to Drive category upon it’s initial 2006 test.

Stop telling the guy how to do his job and enjoy the writing for what it is, which is to be a little infomative, and entertaining.
