Somebody help me out here. Why was Goodsir so shaken up when he found that ring on Gibson?

I certainly don’t want to discourage you from reading as the book is still very good, but this adaptation is much much better.

So remember back in the first episode, when the Delos QA team is executing hosts on the beach. IIRC, there was a female host that was about to get shot, but then Rebus (still obviously in his virtuous mode) steps in front of her and gets shot. That’s a nice little piece of continuity.

I took it this way as well. He knows they’re absolutely fucked, so in his madness he decides to burn them all to death sparing them of dying in the freezing cold or getting murdered by the Tuunbaq.

I like the book a lot, but I think this adaptation is actually superior to the novel. The narrative decisions they’re making is really punching-up the story.

I mean I’m obviously biased, but I think circumcised dicks are more appealing to look at. If I had to choose between the two of course.

And that’s all I’m trying to say. It’s borderline, and it determined the outcome of the game. In those scenarios, you should go with what was called on the ice 10 times out of 10.

Arvidsson is also getting steered into the rotation of the spin by Keith Yandle’s stick. If anything, this is borderline GI. And when the call on the ice was good goal, I don’t think this was nearly enough evidence to overturn that call.

Did Luongo get steamrolled by 5'9" Viktor Arvidsson? No. There’s contact yes, but it’s a net front battle and Arvidsson is also getting steered into the direction of the spin by Yandle’s stick as well.

The problem is this was ruled a “good goal”. Therefore the review should be conclusive in order to overturn it, and I don’t think they got that here.
