@BigDikJohnson: yes because well selling hardware and massive profits from xbox live have doomed the 360.

@NewYorkInc: Ooh a wikipedia editor in the making.

@SgtBarry: no that includes marketing for windows phone as well.

Wow, and gawker has the cheek to bash fox news for their bias.

@Nona: that's a little different, xbl is one of Microsofts main revenue streams and also costs them money to maintain and get content for. Activision on the other hand pays nothing towards the live upkeep of cod games as MS hosts the matchmaking servers, cod also cost acti little to nothing to keep running.

@xero314:bp HQ is in Britain, majority share is held in britain and it's primary listing is on the london stock exchange. they're a british company.

@dsi1: yea they got stuck in a bit of a spiral like many places, but it will happen again if they like many countries don't reform.

@trunkenmath: that would of helped among, other things.

@SaanZ: it's more what they do with the studio. look at bizarre, working with MS they did quite well. when they got eaten up by Activision they have been pushed to the point of closure. I think if they get bought by Microsoft they could flourish again.

@trunkenmath: yea but that debt could of been lowered buy putting realistic taxes on companies. they almost and imo should of lost the bail out because of their refusal to raise corporation tax.

@Bill Galluccio: yea low businesse tax works great I mean look at Ireland, booming economy.

@resvrgam: vivendi does have controlling share of the company so they could do what they want with it within reason. anyway if all American company only used American workers you can be sure the economy would be worse than it is now, sure unemployment would be low but could most people afford the stuff they made.

@Osagasu: they were never promised tax breaks. this is just Activision being Activision.

@resvrgam: actually Activision should should hire French people then, since their parent company is French. after all a French company should maintain French jobs.

so RROD represents a general hardware failure, yet I don't see any hardware in those pictures.

@MrChang: yea but then you will just have all the features taken away so what's the point?

@syp: that seems like time played for BF:BC 2 overall though not Vietnam alone. so you still can't tell witch platform put the most time in to the Vietnam addon.

i believe the epic fail was aimed at the fact that hackers only had to bypass 20% of the security to play pirated games, and that the removal of the other OS feature backfired and actually encouraged hackers instead of stopping them.

@Gambit09: no it does a pretty good job with games.
