The entire dress code was:

They don’t need to say anything. They’ve made very clear their stances on child rape and genocide.

I understand where you’re coming from. I 100% get wearing a yamulke or veil to attend an event where those items have religious significance. I even get wearing an outfit that falls into a church’s customs. I do dress up in lacy, floral pastel dresses to go into church because that’s what it’s customary to wear there.

I like the dress and I’m all for women skirting around ridiculous dress codes meant to shame and sexualize their bodies. I am perpetually enraged at the idea that a woman’s body can disrespect “the sacredness” of a place.

Sure, some are probably lying about how wealthy they are, and may be struggling. Others, like the Luyendyks have recently purchased a second home for themselves in Hawaii. Which isn’t something you can easily fake.

I read the r/Bachelor subreddit where a lot of this broke, and a lot of the fury is about:

My partner and I have ordered our ID.4 and I think you’re spot on. We currently have a 2011 CRV and a 2013 Prius c and wanted something that mashed those personalities together—a crossover that was family, environment and wallet friendly, good for city driving and the occasional hurricane evacuation—that was a bit

I think it’s that they didn’t actually let Michael Sam play. They cut him before the season began, so he was the first openly gay man *drafted* into the NFL, but this guy is the first *active player* in the NFL.

There are three seasons a year (Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise), so—and I don’t know if this makes the entire situation even worse—that’s only “8 months” pay for him.

I’m a similar size and 5'9" and it’s a constant struggle!

That was such a sad story. Those people truly sound like the Absolute Worst (although I’m still judging the queen for listening to them).

My sister has chosen my grandmother’s name for her new baby due in less than a month. My sister didn’t consult her, but my dad told her a few weeks after they decided and my grandmother’s only response was to watch out for bullying because kids used to call her things like “Big Belly.” Her name is gorgeous, too

I’m very jealous of your island summers.

I’m not a Brood X person, I live in the sweaty armpit of the US where cicadas are also yearly, usually every July-August.

Cicadas can reach a noise level of about 110 db, this is about 16x louder than regular tv audio or vacuum cleaner or car, about 2x louder than a lawn mower or jack hammer, and in whichhearing loss [is] possible after less than 2 minutes.” x

I had a cicada hang out on a branch about 3ft away from my living room sofa a few years back. That thing was louder than a freaking jet engine. Whatever the loudness limit is on those bugs, that thing surpassed it each evening, starting at about 6pm. I would have to leave my house every evening when it began screaming

It’s not that I don’t care about the wedding itself. I just always thought a courthouse elopement would be romantic, and I hate big events. My fiance wanted his family at his wedding, however, so we planned something that would include them. I guess I meant more “we only planned this thing in the first place so that

HBO Max has had the full show since April 1. Roku’s free app usually has a season or two.

And, importantly, the woke mob hasn’t canceled the straight white man who lives in my house and dares express disdain toward my binge-watching sessions of The Nanny. But maybe they should.

Good luck there. And best wishes to your boss “adjusting” to the idea that her employees care about things other than her business.
