had a close friend lose her home, and everything in it, to this fire. her family stayed with us immediately afterward. she has attempted to go back but her 3yo daughter’s asthma kicked up the closer they got. saw some posts about landlords doubling/tripling rents during this (fuck them). all of this is so devastating.
