Good comment. Here’s what may surprise a lot of people here and generally. A lot of bike guys and gals are also car guys and gals. They own cars and bikes, and pay insurance and their share of taxes. And not that it should matter, but sometimes they are quite well off, if you care to look up the cost of some of their

The reaction of most people here, including mine, I think is fairly supportive of the business for owning up to the mistake. And I thought the post itself is balanced in its reporting. The events described appear to be what happened, and reporting of what happened and people’s reactions to these events is a

well, actions have consequences...

Cyclist and driver here, love doing both. Apology accepted, would stop for a beer.

It seems that the intended punchline was that running over cyclists with your car is funny because it’s their fault for being on the bike in the first place.

I appreciate them owning up to this and offering what appears to be a sincere apology. Kudos to them for that, and I hope that the business continues to enjoy the goodwill of all of Houston’s residents and of whoever happens to pass by.

AWD is a safety feature

no of course not. that’s not the point though. It’s whether hamilton, even in a slower car, had the right to take the racing line when he did.

hamilton wasn’t on the racing line and didn’t have the speed when he closed the lane (maybe a dick move, but this isn’t about making friends), and vestappen started the pass too late for hamilton to have to leave space.
