Yeah, though it may be the manner of which they announced it. At a big event with all these lights and anticipation for their announcement to just be a card game, ya know, sort of setting up for disappointment. May have been better as a press release, at least I want to think the reaction would be less intense.

This game and Snake Rattle n’ Roll had a similar aesthetic and both difficult enough that I don’t think I ever saw past the third level for either.

In my time with the Splatfest I was only matched up with a cake team on two occasions. Majority of my plays were against other ice cream teams. If it were the same for others I suspect that skewed the numbers quite a bit.
