MGO2 only had multiple spawn points in specific game modes that revolved around capturing areas like base. Majority of the spawn points were isolated in one location. Like in TDM there was one spawn point/area. MGO3 has several.

Metal Gear Online 2 is one of my favorite games ever. That said, I absolutely hate this game. You can’t compare MGO3 and MGO2, they’re too different. So looking at MGO3 on its own merits it’s just nothing but frustration. From the way your character moves (like a tank stuck in mud) to ridiculous design choices like

She is a treasure.

The creepiest part is it’s a kiss on the lips. If she had kissed him on the forehead or cheek it’d be so less weird. The lips was a strange and specific choice here. Creepy.

Well, this is definitely NOT MGO2. They made that very clear.

Now playing

Don’t forget Muppet Babies’ episode “It’s Only Pretendo”:

this is godawful. what sick people.

They are voting with their wallets correctly, though. They’re letting Konami know what sort of product they want from them: a big budget, blockbuster title man by talented artists and creators. The fact Konami has changed everything and let Kojima go and everything near the end of its production doesn’t make MGSV any

My worst story wasn’t as a customer but an employee. We had our fair share of customers who I couldn’t understand. Like the dozen or so who would buy an Xbox 360 on an almost monthly basis. They would bring in their broken 360, red ring or otherwise, to trade in. This was within the year that the 360 first released so

Looking good.
I pledged for the kickstarter with the intent of playing it before MGSV released, with its original tentative release of summer 2014. But, hey, I don’t mind the delay for a better product. Looking good.

A lot of places reporting this pay-to-play news are, once again, mixing up Metal Gear Online 3 and the FOB online portion of the campaign. :( It’s a shame as a huge fan of MGO2 it feels like MGO is once again not receiving the recognition it deserves. At least Kotaku seems to understand the difference.

Looks great! I’ve always wanted to play a River City Ransom game. And this one looks like a super Scott Pilgrim vs The World so that’s all the better.

Yes. There’s an entire long scene with Snake and Naomi in MGS4 about it and how the Fox Die has mutated to possibly kill anyone. Which they also got wrong in the video cause it originally only would kill certain people. But listening to this video you’d think Fox Die was meant to kill everyone?

I think that’s part of it. Like watching certain movies. Like, say, Die Hard. John McClane has this entire past and history and you end up feeling like you’re missing something. He’s a cop and having trouble with his family and stuff and then you’re in this plot of fighting terrorists and stuff. You’re left feeling

It sounds convoluted and idiotic cause it’s a convoluted and idiotic video. Playing the games it actually make sense. But like any long running series it develops a ton of detail. This is a connected story with the same characters, more or less, across several hours long titles. Think of it like seasons of a show. Try

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: This video is inaccurate.

You’re in luck cause the game evolves with each game so MGSV is like Peace Walker+ in terms of what it offers. You’d probably really enjoy MGSV. Maybe not the previous titles as they play less like Peace Walker, though Peace Walker is improved versions on each previous title. MGS has the simplest gameplay mechanics

Would someone be able to hack in, fiddle with some code or restrictions, and manage to get the game working if it were preloaded? You know, being on a PC and all? Isn’t preloading downloading the game ahead of time but being restricted from playing it until release date?

Realized I replied to Prayer Police by accident rather than the article. My bad.

Thank you! It IS terrible, isn’t it? Why would someone take that small, unrepeatable joy away from an unsuspecting reader? It’s most unfortunate.
