Lol, said “modeling career” was literally ONE year...as a ‘suitcase model’ on “Deal Or No Deal”! She’s not even a D-list celebrity, no one had really heard much of her prior to meeting Harry tbh.

C) Just getting a surrogate, which several of these women have done. As it turns out, pregnancy is much easier at any she when you can pay someone else to do it.
They have nothing to say that anyone wants to hear unless it’s gossip about the royal family.
Same. It feels like they have a LOT of nothing to really say. They’re both so incredibly boring that I can’t imagine what they talk about when they’re alone.
Thankfully with this parting of ways they will be able to get the privacy they’ve always wished for.
I’m sorry, but no. Her podcast was a bunch of famous and rich women and they spent the entire time talking each other up. In an age where women are losing their rights, sexual violence is on the rise, trans women are facing horrific abuse and discrimination, racism and bigotry faced by women, abortion access being…
Thank GOD someone finally gave ::checks notes:: Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling and Paris Hilton a forum to talk about themselves- truly they are the silenced minority. Maybe Serena can talk about tennis and racism and her sister because I don’t think she’s ever done that before! Revolutionary content,…
Because you can only listen to attractive, privileged, famous, and uber wealthy people complain about their injustices for so long.
Also if they need money why not have Megan go back to acting and Harry try to find a job hosting, being a celebrity judge, try helping in producing movies, or try doing a bunch of cameos in tv shows and movies.
I commented elsewhere, but she was 19 in February 2022. She’s not even technically a teen.
Exactly! Became a first time mom naturally at 40; at that point I had been married for 16 years, owned a home, we were financially secure, and thrill to be involved in every day of being a parent. My husband and I made friends with the parents that were 15 years younger and still socialize with those parents 35 years…
Thanks, haha.
Freezing your eggs is actually terrible technology- if you want a child, the best thing to do is just to have one when young. These stories are just feel good lies to justify poor maternity cover and career opportunities for women.
Very sorry you went through this! I had my son when I was 47 (wife was 40, and the little lug was 11 pounds at birth; still don’t know how she did it). He’s now 15. I’m more interested in the world of folks his age than I ever would have been otherwise.
This is a weird take. Look - I am all for bodily autonomy and full control over your life and family planning. But I don’t feel good about normalizing mid-40s pregnancies or treating them as an empowering thing.
A “natural” pregnancy at 54 is exceptionally unusual. Even with medical intervention (IVF, etc) is is very *very* unlikely.
I also think there is a big difference in fertility between ages 40 and 49.
My parents were older when they had me. They’d mentally checked out of parenting about a decade before I was an adult.
Don’t forget as in my case with older parents than most losing your parents before fifty is difficult.
Conceived how? If these 45+ women are using donor eggs and IVF to get pregnant, well great for them! But that doesn’t mean that the average women will be able to follow suit. Fertility isn’t quite the sudden and quick dropoff that many think it is, but it does diminish over time. Freezing your eggs when you’re younger…
