Yeah. It’s sad she died, but she was a self-centered pain in the ass. And my first thought upon seeing this headline was, “Now she’ll never have to grow up.”

Thank you for that.
I hate to go after the kids (I mean, look at their dad), but I’m not really following their logic, either. They don’t want to be associated with that, so their promote their band on Good Morning America with a song called “Balloon Boy, No Hoax”?
I know she redid the WH, but to me that’s always fallen under “liked to shop”.
I’ve never understood why she is so worshipped. She liked to shop. That is the only thing about her.
I think their point was that they are a layperson and therefore not qualified to do anything but speculate.
This person really does not need an expert. They were asked what they thought and they expressed it, with the qualifier that their opinion isn’t based on anything other than their own experience.
I can’t believe the fact that this was a plot on Shameless hasn’t been emphasized more.
It’s also unethical and if it’s true, the counselor should be facing some consequences. If it’s not, she’s trashing their professional reputation and deserves to be in even more trouble.
I’m sure they could have accessed a private counselor, who could have gotten a release and worked with the school.
It makes sense they often (or always, or whatever) need to fly on private jets for safety. For themselves, and everyone else on the plane. However, their overall consumption seems to be quite high, and that is not necessary.
Oh, I agree on the headline. I thought he’d either do that, or he’d actually, literally just had another daughter. But no, he just said some nice, normal things.
Agreed. I don’t think officially leaving Scientology is an option for him. I’ve had the sense that, at least since his son died, he would love to.
I’ve never heard him say anything but lovely things about anyone. There’s really nothing not to judge.
Agreed. Everyone should have the support of their friends and family. His opinion will not influence whatever happens.
That private jet and yacht will also do more damage than the poster will ever do in their life, so I guess we’re even.
I was working as a nanny for an upper-middle class family when it was big, and I remember discussing it with the husband. He told me his wife was disgusted, but he thought it was so “too real”, it made him squirm. So, maybe it was popular with a certain set, and it trickled down?
I won’t deny that Ross sucked, and the fight preceding the break was his fault. He didn’t respect Rachel, simultaneously disdained her career and denied she might actually be good at it, and yes, he screwed over Julie, Emily and Bonnie, treating them much worse than he ever treated Rachel. It also kind of sucks the…
She’s the one who said they were on a break. If it was vague, it was on her.
Ross and Rachel were the two worst characters, but at least Ross was smart. Rachel didn’t have any redeeming qualities at all.
I couldn’t agree more. If she didn’t want him to sleep with anyone else, she should have had a conversation with him about what they both wanted said “break” to look like. As it was, they were not together, she’s the one who broke up with him, and he could do as he liked.
