Every time I went “shopping” all the charging stations were full, forcing me to extend my “shopping” trip by another hour (or two).  No thank you.

I think that’s the case in California. It supposedly adds ~$100 or so to the overall cost of the home when building it.

Yeah I am not going to pay a premium for a f’ing RAV4.  It is expensive enough already.

I’m not trying to encourage everyone to be their own electrician but it just isn’t that hard to put in an outlet.  I wired a 240v outlet for a level 2 charger in about 30 minutes.  Even if you hire an electrician it isn’t that difficult of a job.
