I didn’t know Africa completely change their qualifying procedure. In 2014 they did the top 10 teams made the final round of qualifying, top 5 get seeded and it was a home and home. It was a brutal way to go. This makes more sense.

If this is a tradeoff for a privately funded stadium. I honestly don’t hate it. The thing about PSLs are that they are, essentially, an upfront surcharge on the tickets. Even if you own the seats for just 10 years. You are talking about a $2.50/game fee in the form of a PSL (Assuming a $10,000 PSL price).

I saw the stat that no team that played in Europa won the Premier League next year. Watching Chelsea this year, it’s clear that it is so much better to finish 8th than in Europa.

More like 60 than 80. It happens about 2x a season on average.

He missed 6 matches early in the season and they drew 4 times in 6 matches
Spurs scored 3 goals in those 4 matches. I don’t agree with the theory, though. I don’t think the Spurs would have expected to win all 4 of those matches.
