Whether she wanted to meet with them or not, I doubt it's even her decision to make at this point, especially if her husband is still working at the State Dept. If the White House tells her to show up, she shows up.

I look forward to this being the first porno featured on “How Did This Get Made??”.

Yeah what kind of mega old money person doesn’t know that most people graduate with debt? Does he wipe his ass with alpaca and blows his nose into silk?

According to the glowing Forbes profile of her (that shames everyone who isn’t working 22 hours a day and networking constantly), she saves money by living with her significant other.

I believe it was Abraham Lincoln who said “Don’t believe every celebrity quote you read on the internet.”

Agree on the first part, but remember when Hilary was asked to say something nice about him (groaaaaannn) and she said his kids had been raised well? That was hilarious.

Joe Biden could not get through a single sentence without a stammer, a flub, a badly misused word, or flat out interrupting himself five words in with an unrelated thought. A mess.

Right, for that month but i don't believe even if you accept late payments, you are still obligated to follow the written lease/agreement.

“I just feel like they’re trying to erase me.“

no, not all the time they’re not when the city you live in has laws that allow for a grace period and you pay within that, OR you make an agreement with your landlord, verbal or otherwise.

It’s not true. There is a “says Mucciol” after that quote. This is all her scrubbed clean version of events. For example, note how she tries to soften her own culpability by framing it as “a late payment” (as in singular), not the pattern of multiple late payments she admits to later.

Way harder than landlords/managers would like, especially when trying to kick out drug dealers who scratched creepy designs into their front door.

Plus it’s a RENTAL. She doesn’t own it or even have a long term lease or anything. I’ve dealt with creative types moving out before: no matter how many times they swear they’ll clean the stickers off the doors and repaint? They leave a giant mess and can’t understand why they aren’t getting the damage deposit back.

She won’t be getting her security deposit back, that’s for sure.

Right, it’s super difficult to evict in Los Angeles. It sounds like the landlord is giving her a chance to vacate before starting eviction procedures, which sounds shitty but is also a little generous.

The crux is really buried in the story:
“she pays rent erratically, due to mental health struggles. In the past,

late rent payments are considered a breach of the lease contract. landlord can dissolve the lease/have evidence enough to secure an eviction. who does this moron think she is? like, it sucks and landlords should be abolished and I hate that anyone can be evicted but...no girl, you’re not being unfairly evicted because

Are we seriously acting like what’s happening in her apartment is anything approaching originality, or that Lisa Frank hasn’t existed for literally decades? This woman’s apartment has looked like this for, max, two years, but an established brand built on the exact aesthetic she used is ripping HER off? Please.

JUST TO SAY IT - This woman used to have an Etsy shop that sold home decor, she was copying designs/names from other artists AND never shipped out lots of the stuff (I bought several pieces that never arrived). She kept saying she promised she was working on it and was so sorry and she was just overwhelmed but to my

Definitely very similar spaces and Lisa Frank is trash but I just don’t understand why she would be evicted over an apartment that looks similar to hers and is only available for two weeks? Am I missing something here?
