“They don’t ever get that we live in the same space but that space is different for us than it is them.”

That’s only because the systemic victimhood allows you to perceive it differently.

“Last week, while standing in line at a huge entertainment complex, I asked one of the employees if I was in the right line to reserve a table for the restaurant. Before I could even finish, she cut me off dismissively and said: “You’re in the right line.””

And that is the problem. Systemic victimhood. I was on

That’s three white-people articles in a row, Mike. Maybe you should take your xanax?

Well talking about the US’s involvement in Haiti without mentioning that today the US is the #1 source of aid to the country seems rather skewed, doesn’t it? Considering foreign aid is a major part of Haiti’s economy today...

Haiti deforested their own land. It’s called “cut and get out.” They chopped down the trees to build housing. Private property rights are almost non-existent. The government owns most of the land. This is partly why natural disasters are so devastating to them. If you can’t own the land you build your home on, you

Crowded Room?! Damn, Tommy Wiseau’s getting downright prolific, isn’t he?

Does Brie Larson ever smile?

The answer: Dracula.

I, too, still get the prompt.

im no physicist, but judging by that angle I dont think hes gonna make that jump.

I don’t really get the decision to change Gran’ma Custer to a Voodoo priestess. Isn’t the whole point of Gran’ma that she represents the hypocrisy of America’s fundamentalist Christians?

Some of the page to screen changes don’t bother me, but some of them are just baffling.

I don’t know man, I liked it. The flashback openings are really solid. Anything with Starr and The Grail is just as good as the Comic’s source material. I also think Dominic Cooper is the weakest of the main cast members, but by no means outright bad. My expectations for Angelville are lessened each week so far due to
