I had nothing to add to this when it came out but this morning was reminded of "Bowfinger". Movie, not good. Scenes of Eddie Murphy's "celebrity" character freaking out in the parking garage as he is stalked by a dog in high heels? Oh, yeah! Scenes of Eddie's "simple minded celebrity look-alike cousin" having to run

Know what would make a great double screening? Drive, followed by, Crash.

I came here to sneer but I can't argue with the article, and I can't argue with you.

He was exonerated for the most part, and his story of research did in fact match some previously published works of his from the same time period, such as the essay, "A Different Bomb", About his own suspicions of child abuse and the suicide of a friend of his who had been abused and recently committed suicide. I bet everyone of us did that WTF Kurt Russell? double take!
