Before tent rise.
Before tent rise.
Great, a movie about Steven Tyler.
I guess that me coming from a really out of the way backwards area, KAEP probably seemed much better at the time than it actually was. I looked forward to the "Vinyl Vault" everyday. think it was Uncle Larry's Vinyl Vault.
And, frankly, if you have seen Tap, you have pretty much seen every Doc, every Behind the Music, in a nutshell.
I tried to think of how many I have watched and don't think its a half dozen! I was sure it was more.
The Stones looked like a self important parody of themselves by the time they had been upstaged by at least three of the other opening acts. But they didn't lock the movie in a vault for 25 years cause their performance was daft, it was just misunderstood…
Maybe Snag Films could take this over? I think they might be a little better positioned to make it happen, Docs are kinda their thing.
I am guessing you have watched seven docs and now want to prove your superior music fan cred.
I remember Kevin Seal. I think he lives quietly in my city, or at least used to. He had a quote after leaving MTV about them being all about the wrapper and not about the candy inside.
Speaking of Twilight Moms, here, for everyones reading enjoyment is this guest column from the stranger. http://www.thestranger.com/…
New on NBC, "Tin Hat Alley" starring Brett Butler, Margot Kidder and Kirk Cameron.
Goodbye "Cougar Town" Your name will belong to hardcore MILF porn forever now.
I respectfully disagree. To my tastes, The Stones do their usual cartoonish voodoo r&b thing while The Who perform what some consider the single best rock performance ever caught on film. Yes, I know the Stones played at 2am and Jones was a vegetable but when wasn't Jones that way and 2am is a nice excuse but most…
I do too and I the thing I liked was that even if no one gets it, it's still funny to me, because of course it is.
Of course he does. He saves them to make little Morrissey Voodoo dolls he can poke.
Not really a documentary but unwittingly documents an exact moment in London artistic scene is The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. An early attempt at trying to combine different media and artistic fields. Weird circus big top atmosphere, some very spaced out Lennon, Richards, Brian Jones, etc. Awesome…
People of the universe! Tonight tonight is the nite the sky's will open, and spray forth the divine hand with poison finger you are not just a duck, you are a human, so go forth and thrash! Something something…..
I flippin' forgot all about Decline of Western Civilization I&II. Its been a long long time. Can it not be re-released because of all the different music labels?
"ripped from the headlines"
Each time I have been coerced into sitting through/watching Twilight, parts one through whatever, I have just thought to myself "I will cleanse my mind by watching either of the "Let The Right One In" movies as soon as I can, by myself.
