I have pepto tablets at my desk at all times (I can stomach the chewables but only bc I am usually dying for instant relief). Every time “something” is going on with me, it starts with my stomach. Those disgusting pink charcoal pucks are a fucking lifesaver.

Just cancel the whole dang thing. You know for the dogs.

“I don’t think the Disney parks look like fun for me” isn’t the same thing as “I don’t trust any adults who want to do this thing without children”, though. Not wanting to go isn’t the same as being creeped out by those who do. Like, what’s creepy about a person who enjoys celebrating movies they loved as kids (or

Yeah, how dare people want to go on fun rides and impressive attractions without bringing along an expensive child (or better yet, several children!) who will limit what they can do, when they can do it, and complain the entire time about being hungry or thirsty or their feet hurting (and who have to be watched the

Thank god the disease didn’t start in Germany, otherwise I couldn’t eat hamburgers (and even if It did, I would have no idea which burger places were run by actual Germans)!!!

People will freak the fuck out over this and I’m here for it.

are you me?

Republicans are such bitch asses.  Trump talks shit about the people in his own party and they still kneel down to him all because they’re scared about getting re-elected.  Trump on the other hand is a fake tough guy, he talks a lot of game, but you can tell he’s never been in a physical altercation.  He’s the same as

No, it doesn’t assume instantaneous distribution—Newton died a little longer than one instant ago! But it’s true that you need more information to reach the conclusion above.

“Entomologists who study cockroaches often become allergic to them. At the same time, they become allergic to most brands of pre-ground coffee.”

While on the topic of apostrophes, may we have an addendum that addresses the increasing misuse of “would/should/could of” in place of “would/should/could’ve?”

I guess the counterpoint is that a lot of holiday food really isn’t that good for humans. You know why my kids won’t eat the green bean casserole? Because the beans are mushy and covered in slime, as opposed to every time I serve them at home when they are steamed. My kids will be eating rolls and the raw veggies from

Counterpoint (actually it’s the same point the article is making): It’s a single meal (or a single weekend). I kind of agree that their bodies may not self-regulate for the following meals, but for one meal, who cares? And like the article says, we all eat like crap for that meal, why not let your kids make the same

Honey is not homeopathic. Homeopathic is not synonymous with “natural” - it’s a specific discredited theory that water has memory if you take something that would cause a disease and dilute it so much that not a single particle of the original substance remains, it will cure that disease.

I had to make a burner just to reply to this. I come from a very non-cultured place and did not see a head of garlic in person until I was 30 years old.  I feel you.  I promise people actually cook in my hometown, just not with fancy real garlic.

I have a head of roasted garlic with some butter and crusty bread for dinner on Fridays sometimes. Even if you don’t know what to do with it at first, you get the hang of it pretty quickly and then it’s the best thing ever.

Well it’s not raw, but I have been known to eat them whole. Just coax them out with your butter knife and smash and spread with wild abandon!

“Hold my beer.”

Nutrition is like politics these days. Most people claim to listen to the science but don’t actually do so if it contradicts their world view. I know a lot of vegans who were VERY upset with this study, lots of Carnivors who were very happy, and me and my friends who just IIFYM went “meh”. Though... the Keto zealots

I honestly had no idea, nor had I made it a goal to figure it out.
