Maya Rudolph is not, and has never been funny. I know, I know, Idiocracy. ANYONE could have played her part, and probably yielded funnier results. Give it up NBC, she's not going to happen.

You are absolutely right about season one, and "it's just a soap" is a copout lazy viewers use to excuse the lazy sloppy writing on the show. I bailed after this episode.
