I’ll stick with my brainless low fee index funds.

Several people have mentioned this, but I’ll reiterate; these number are definitely inflated. There are scores of good in-state colleges and universities where the annual cost is more like $7k. Over inflating numbers like this will only dissuade people from saving for their children.
