EVE is pretty tough and is unlike most MMOs. It's complex and unforgiving and while there's not really "grinding", there is the sense that what you're doing is work.

Detailed interiors won't do much good if bumping into things still makes me feel like my character is wrapped in sandpaper and dipped in glue. So I hope they improve that horrid aspect of the ARMA engine.

It's not ready yet, and my comment echoes dozen similar comments I've seen on the web. I guess it will be a meaningless "soft" launch and they will keep making big changes after it. Sort of like Minecraft.

I don't play Xbox and haven't played any Halo, but Master Chief to me sounds like the iconic Xbox character currently.

What I mean is, If I want a mech game I play MechWarrior (MWO is not as good as the previous MechWarrior games but that's besides the point). If I want an FPS I have loads of games already. What's Hawken bringing in that's special?

But from what I can see, this plays nothing like MWO. Hawken has standard FPS controls, you just happen to be controlling a mech. In Mechwarrior games you really feel like you're in a mech, for instance by turning your torso independently of your legs, and setting forward or backward throttle.

Good to see Miner Wars 2081 and Afterfall Insanity making the list.
