Zynga are distancing from Facebook already. They launched Mafia Wars 2 and Cityville on Google+, maybe others too, not sure. And they are reportedly working on their own social network.

I assume it would be pretty hard to live on the inner surface of a sphere and not notice, what with the lack of horizon and the distant lands sloping up. Still, I too noticed this detail in the intro and I like the idea!
