This is great, IMO. I love old games and many of them I can overlook shortcomings due changes in controls and graphics, but the old Tomb Raider games feel so rough now. I’m glad you can revert it to the old style, but this is an old series that did not age well at all. Playing them now I’m shocked that I played

I don’t use it wired normally, but I did buy a 10' cable specifically for those times when I forget to charge it.  It’s annoying, but not as annoying as not being able to play.

I get that, and something like that MIGHT work for the American market, but Xbox in Japan is hardly on anyone’s radar, aside from the latest Atlus releases that are for now exclusive to the platform. If anything, I can see Microsoft buying Sega or something like that to force its way into the Japanese market in a

Yo just a tip. You can just use a phone charger connected to the wall near you and it will still work wireless connected to console. No need to get a long cable that connects directly to the console.

Won’t even knock it because that’s a pretty good reason.

That drove me nuts during my Spider-Man 2 play through. I was almost to the point of getting a 10' USB C cable and just use the controller wired.

...they’re a really useful service for letting others know who to mute on first contact.

My theory is that Nintendo is gonna announce the Switch either around the end of fiscal year 2023, or beginning of fiscal year 2024. Which is in March 2024.

Being updated to say it can be played on both Switch and Switch 2 makes sense, sounds like a good marketing move. If old copies are disappearing, that seems like they’d have to release the new versions soon, right? Like next couple weeks? And if the new versions mention Switch 2 compatibility, then the Switch 2 would

Honestly, what I’d love to see is a small-scale story set on a planet we’ve never seen before, with characters we’ve never seen before, and little to nothing to do with the Jedi or the Clone Wars storyline. The Cowboy Bebop movie but in Star Wars and with Mando and baby Yoda, basically.

I think I saw Kotaku mention it in their article too.

Well, this has my attention, but I’m uncertain what to expect. I really love Indiana Jones and all its properties, but the games have been ALL OVER THE PLACE over the years

The earliest Indiana Jones games were basically NES/SNES-type classic action platformers where you had lives, killed enemies and reached the end of

Come on remake of The Fate of Atlantis!

Guessing the controller bit is just to help catch headlines, while all the other tech is the actual point they want to get noticed. Nobody is going to be driving around in their car using a DualSense to steer, but it’s audacious and flashy at a big tech show to get press attention.

I’m sure it will all go swimmingly.

Yup happened with Aloy too because she “wasn’t attractive enough” to be a female lead character

This kind of behavior is why I don’t tell people that I play video games until the second or third time I meet them. Gotta give them a chance to see I’m a mentally stable, kind person.

I used to work in the fitness industry and would regularly have photo and video shoots of the talent using our equipment.

I wonder if women get briefed by developers/publishers when they’re hired to act or model for a game, if they’re at all made aware of what will happen in social media as a consequence of being hired. I wonder if, whoever will end up being cast as Abby in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us, she will be made aware that,

You know those trap-py TikTok videos about video game nostalgia?
