I’m going to go waaaaay out on a limb here and assume that whomever is running that Xbox Battle Grounds account has never seen an actual flesh and blood posterior nude and in person. Call it a hunch.

SKUs aren’t their problem.  This is simplifying production since they don’t need to build different systems using hardware that is specific to them.  Now all Playstations will be identical, but just sold with either a blockoff plate or a drive attached.

I’m playing through the 3DS version of MGS3, which is also one of my top 10 games of all time, and I can tell you that there’s something truly magical about playing it on a New 3DS XL. The controls are super smooth with the double shoulder buttons and the second analogue stick, but I DEFINITELY wouldn’t recommend…

Yeah thats definitly not it. Maybe 1% of the playerbase actually mods games. The majority are on console where mods just dont exist...except for starfield which is getting mod support in 2024...

The raw speed is obviously very impressive, but the slickness of that transition is the real wow factor here, IMO. Open map, select fast travel, fade out/in in the exact same timeframe would be significantly less impressive than this map level geometry blending wizardry.
