Didn’t he also say ES6 is still like 5 years out and that the market could drastically change by then? By the time that comes out we may be on PS6 and the next Xbox if they follow the 7 year cycle. So who knows how that landscape will turn out. Which backs up the case-by-case basis and it would be dumb if they made…

I take rumors with a grain of salt but one Gamefreak dev mentioned something that they’re working on an enhancement patch for the Switch Pokemon titles.

I hope Nintendo doesn’t overthink it and try to reinvent the wheel. They really knocked it out of the park with Switch so why couldn’t they just keep the same system but push newer hardware? Like with Steamdeck and others entering the market it would be nice if Switch 2 was as powerful as a Series S. 

*cries in FF7 remake* I have it for PS4 but can’t get the expansion for it unless I get a PS5, where as the Xbox side of things I’m good to go. I was planning on getting a PS5 this fall for Spider-Man 2 but October is stacked as it is and I’m trying to do better with money.

As far as what they make exclusive, I’ve always just assumed that if it’s an established IP it’ll stay multiplatform. But new IP those are almost guaranteed to be exclusive.  

I don’t believe so, I know someone that waited for their account to lapse and he bought 3 years of Gold for like $150. He redeemed them and signed up for gamepass ultimate again the same day.

I’ve only bought a couple of things from LRG and that’s one thing I’ve appreciated that they do open pre-orders. So if you want a copy you’re guaranteed one. They usually produce a few excess to sell at conventions and for replacements. 

That’s what I would bet on. Limited Run has been pretty good about getting physical copies of digital games. If they do it I hope they do a great collector’s edition because I really liked the one from the original Alan Wake.

TROS that’s what they did. They repurposed old footage of her from the previous movies. For the flashback of Leia and Luke training, I know she was played by her daughter with Carrie’s likeness. I want to say it was a deep fake but I’m not sure what they would count as.

There was something a while back about a guy who wrote a comic book with AI generated art. He tried to copyright it but was only allowed the title and story. So the AI art he used is up for grabs.

The microwave part actually happened? I saw someone tweet about that and thought it was a joke tweet. I was like why would Flash but a baby in a microwave?

I don’t use Xbox Cloud Gaming that often but the times that I have it has worked wonderfully.

I played the first one a while back and really loved it. I was going to pass on this one because I thought it was just a straight up remake and not like a remix of both games with the DLCs. So now I’m more interested in this one!

Downloaded the rom for my Analogue Pocket later. I’m strangely excited about this!

Which is a reason I appreciated Jedi Survivor. It’s a Metroidvania style game but the different planets you go to makes exploring feel rewarding. I’m getting up there in age too which is making steer from most open world games. I’d like to give Starfield a try but I know it’s probably not for me. Thankfully though…

I’ll give Jade a shot but it’s the one I’m least interested in. Maybe it’ll surprise me when the beta comes. VR I’m down for and wish they gave a more solid date other than Holiday 2023.

There’s 5 total coming: Mirage, Jade, Red, Hexe, and Nexus. Last year for the 15th Anniversary they did an Assassin’s Creed showcase for the future of the series. Jade was announced then as a mobile game.

It’s been a while since I’ve played Forgotten Sands and I remember it being a blast. I was skeptical at first and it went on sale for $10 at Best Buy, so I took a chance and it was worth it.

Hopefully they don’t do a Legion, Valhalla, and Immortals again. They released them in Oct, Nov, and Dec 2020. That was a stacked winter!
