My social media feeds were filled with people disappointed about the leak. Not necessarily the whole unfinished look but along the lines of the reveal of the game being ruined.

I use the website all the time when I’m curious about something. With my limited time I’d rather play 5 different games instead of 1 long game. I know the times are just averages of what people entered but like most other comments I tend to be on the slower side of things so it’s a give or take estimate.

I never understood that when I played the Xbox version. It felt lacking and thought maybe there was a toggle for it but no. 

The OG xbox remake is playable on current consoles. So if you have the disc you’re good to go! They also released it under GWG. Sure it’s not part of Rare Replay but at least both Conker’s are playable.

I was at a con over the weekend that had GoldenEye setup. As soon as I picked up the controller my muscle memory kicked in and I didn’t miss a beat.

Same, the games have his DNA all over them and even though I didn’t care much for MGSV (which is probably more at fault with Konami than Kojima), I just can’t see a new Metal Gear without him. I know they did Survive but did anyone really play it?

That and mostly everything is still releasing on last gen. There’s days where it feels like we’re still in the PS4/XBO era. The big stuff I’m hyped for won’t come out for another year or two, so I’ll probably end up with a PS5 in the middle of its life span.

I can’t tell you how many new games I have on the shelf that I have that exact issue with. It takes me forever to play through something these days, which is why I’ve been gravitating towards games I can complete in a lazy saturday afternoon.

They are but there’s only a couple that I would consider a sequel which is A Link Between Worlds and Majora’s Mask, maybe more. Even though Nintendo has their own “timeline”, the games can pretty much be played in any order.

I started lifting about 6 weeks ago, it’s a lot more fun than I initially thought, and I ran into the shoe problem. The only real pair of athletic shoes I have are running shoes and after the first week or two I could tell something was wrong. I’ll end up playing both versions but I’m more disappointed in the Xbox announcement. Mainly because it’s an upscale of the N64 version and not that complete overhaul they were doing for 360. Unless that one is coming at a later date.

I think a day after I posted that they announced a new dashboard for Xbox Series that applies to Xbox One as well. So what timing I have!

Ultimately that’s how I felt about it. Which was odd cause when I got it I just unhooked my One X, hooked up Series X, and plugged in the external HDD. For a while it didn’t feel like I was on a new console until more X|S Optimized games came out.

That’s one thing I liked about upgrading to Series X, that it had the same feature set as Xbox One. A little jarring since it’s new console with an identical OS as One. But I do have to hand it to them for not trying to reinvent the wheel, which they could do a few years down the road.

I think that’s my favorite Switch variant. But it’s hard to justify when I feel like the new Switch is imminent. 

I’m getting confused on the messaging for Overwatch 2. Everywhere I see says the game will be free to play and Overwatch will go offline when 2 launches. I really enjoyed the Lego games. Which they’ve always been fun to just kickback and relax to since there isn’t much of a challenge in them. But LotR and Hobbit were both well done and Hobbit was one of the better lego games.

Pokemon games haven’t had the best pre-order bonuses since I can remember. Most places that did have something worthwhile the bonus was only valid if you ordered the double pack for $120.

I almost never pre-order digital games but the off chance that I do it’s usually like a few days to a week before release. For the same reason as you to get that pre-install going.
