I’m hoping part of the Rockstar agreement is that they can use Max Payne in other franchises. Like I remember Alan Wake taking place in the same world as Max Payne but they couldn’t reference him directly. Same goes for Quantum Break and Control, they had MP references but they were indirect.

The New Jersey parts of the game were my favorite. The rest of the game was meh.

A meme that I saw online kinda freaked me out about uncanny valley. They basically were getting at is if uncanny valley is a learned instinct, like what did our ancestors deal with? What did they see that looked human but slightly off that needed that instinct to evolve for our survival?

Also I just learned over the weekend that copy and paste works across devices. I saw an instagram video of someone copying a photo from iPhone and pasting it into iPad. I thought yeah right and went to try it for myself. I freaked when I realized that it actually works!

I wish they’d release an app for Series X|S so I can see the demo for myself. Matrix Awakens was unbelievable too. Based on those 2 things I can’t wait to see what Gears 6 will look like.

Now if I can just get a copy of the game. I decided way too late to get the physical deluxe edition and missed out on that and the steelbook. So of course I can always just get the game digitally but I’m going to wait on Best Buy to see if they’ll restock and get more steelbooks.

I looked forward to it every year even though I felt like the only person that liked the show. Attending in person is a whole different experience, so thank you Xbox for covering my ticket way back in 2011! 

Ironically I have GamePass PC thanks to GamePass Ultimate but no PC to use it on. I’m really interested in this one as someone who grew up during the LucasArts point and click age. 

Is that difficult to do? I had considered going that route.

Paid around $80 to get 3 years of GPU and won a free year on a Twitch stream. So I’m good through November 2023 but not sure how I’ll end up adding more time. I have enough points on Microsoft Rewards to get an additional year free too. Then I’ve thought about buying 3 month cards whenever they go on sale.
