The biggest fallacy in this whole deal is the fact that people voted or not voted based on the electoral system we have in place. Meaning I would guess millions of people didn’t vote because “their vote didn’t matter”. You can’t just change the rules after people made decisions on voting based on the current system.

If you read the story of how SF got San Jose rights, it’s because Oakland gave them to the Giants, in the 80's i think, so they could use it as leverage to get a new stadium.
