As others have mentioned, Picasa is a great solution. Entirely free for a certain pixel size, and a painless upload process that is embedded into the software. Keeps my mind at ease.

I really want to get some of those NFC tags! I wonder if I have to get Samsung branded ones for my GS3? Seems like they're a pretty universal technology so hopefully it's not proprietary.

I did the same thing in High School, basically only rocked a bootable-USB, a couple DVDs with different Windows versions, and the almighty SATA-USB adapter that lets you explore bare drives.
