My $1,000 P38. I love it.

I’m starting a series of posts about the $1000 P38 I recently acquired. I’m out to prove it’s reliability and relative simplicity to work on.

KIA’s entire lineup looks much better than Toyota or Honda as far as econoboxes go. Hyundai is a bit too curvy for my taste, but still more interesting than their Japanese competitors.

But Ford does a great job of actually integrating them into the dash. All the Merecedes displays look like an afterthought. Even if they had a better looking unit, it would be ok, but it has the biggest bezel ever created, making it look like a kids toy.

I like the new Mercedes lineup. The cars look pretty good. The seats are fantastic. The knock-off iPad they slap on the dash kills the interior on every single one of their cars.
