I've been planning on buying a 996 for about a year. They're extremely affordable, still under 3,000lbs and 300hp. I have access to a lift, so the IMS isn't a huge problem for me. I don't mind the looks, they've actually grown on me. I would much prefer the 997, but not for 2-3x the price.

How much did XCAR have to beg to drive those cars? Then, have someone at Aston say, "Fine, but you only get to drive them around a carpark."
