I didn't know about the STi bits but I almost bought a 9-2x Aero after I sold my bugeye wrx and though I love all things Saab, I didn't like the 9-2 very much. The seats were bricks compared to my wrx and I thought it was louder inside than the wrx as well. I thought I would love the 9-2 but after putting almost 180k

I didn't know the Excursion was controversial. My dad has owned four of them, all with the 7.3L and daily drives them. I've grown up with them and love them.

Carbon Motors...

At least the author of this piece isn't bitter about it...

I live in Boise. There are at least two here that I know of, maybe three.

Oregon definitely has the lowest fees and registration rates of any state I have lived in. I believe it's still about $86 every two years to keep a car registered and $15 for title transfer. It didn't cost me very much to switch cars as long as I transferred my plates to my new car every time.

It depends on where I live. I grew up in Oregon- no sales tax. I went through a dozen different cars in highschool and college just because I could switch cars and not have to worry about paying extra taxes. Granted, they were cheaper cars but I always thought about resale. I've lived in Washington, California and now

0.8l engine, not 0.08. I was scratching my head at an 80cc diesel making that much power.

Being from Oregon, it is annoying in the summer to wait in line for an attendant. On the other hand, when there's 12" of snow on the ground in the winter, rolling down the window enough to slide a credit card out is very nice.

If it's just blind luck that allows people to achieve success and wealth, then the idea of "just working hard" is moot. Success isn't usually built by just working hard doing the same job, success is achieved by being innovative or creating a product people want or need. I agree there is a certain amount of "luck"

Yes, he has too much money. This should be a post about a communist citizen showing off his home made Yugo's garage instead.

These aren't $100k machines. Those combines are from the 70's and 80's. They can be found for a few thousand or less. Most of them aren't worth much because of how inefficient they are compared to leasing a much newer machine. A lot of old combines and swathers sit on the farm for years and years unused.
