Religious people see being LGBTQ+ as something amoral (and depending on the country, illegal). Be you a conservative or liberal, you’ll probably always find your own behavior justified. But the fact is that both sides employ the same logic and also the same methods to try and force their will on other people.

Obviously I’m not saying that shaming someone or using deadly force is the same thing. I am saying that violence is a spectrum and that both deadly force and shaming someone is part of that spectrum, although both occupy different parts of the spectrum. I’m also saying that the deeper underlying logic of using

Or perhaps you shouldn’t use college aged people in your military. It would probably improve the overall quality of the American military if being soldier turns into a professional long term career choice rather than this thing you do when you’re done with high school.

I was more responding to this bit:

Liberals fight in wars just as well as conservatives do. Sometimes those wars are justified on clearly liberal principles. Except in those cases Liberals are fine with it because its for a cause they agree with and they see themselves as justified.

Basically what you’re saying is that you think Donald Glover is a race traitor because he is attracted to people with a different skin color. Except you package it a bit more carefully to sound nicer. But the underlying logic is exactly the same.

What? Having quality voice acting has nothing to do with whether people play the game or not. Those things are unrelated. Voice acting can considerably improve a game, but it can’t turn a meh game into a good one and its not what makes people play and keeps them playing. Case in point DA inquisition and ME Andromeda.

No one plays Far Cry just for the voice acting performance of two antagonists who maybe only have 30 minutes worth of dialogue in a 40 hour game. The gameplay itself is also solid in the way it offers players freedom to approach a lot of the objectives in their own way. I suppose it also helps that a lot of the

South Park’s philosophy isn’t that people who advocate change are terrible people. Far from it in fact as the shows voices of reason often advocate social change. Its core message is and always was that no cause is so important that you can’t make fun of it and that people who adopt a cause still need to be able to

Its a shame that a game that has you play as an inquisitor leading an inquisition, you don’t get to do a lot of stuff the inquisition is known for. The inquisition is not a force of good that saves the world through acts of kindness and open minded understanding, the inquisition is a tool of brutal repression to

I don’t know, I shot them after they went crazy and just assumed that I became the next leader of the Golden Path and that I would do things right. Its also what Pagan Min was hinting at during the game.

Yeah but with the Far Cry 4 ending it fit pretty well with what you’re doing. I mean, look at the real world, rebels who overthrew the dictator often turn into something just as bad as they previously fought. Rebellions that transition the country into a stable democracy after they are done are the exception, not the

What vision though? What can you point to in her work that speaks of artistic vision.

Well with the whole VW diesel scandal I gotta wonder how they tested the fuel efficiency of the Leopard 2.

They probably got plenty of ammo and turbine parts. The real question is if they have the know how to replace parts that break.

Oil isn’t the same as fuel. You need to refine the oil into fuel or you’ll just ruin the engine.

I hate this ending to the point where I don’t want to play the game anymore. It isn’t even that I need a ‘good’ ending where everyone lives merrily ever after, but I do need an ending that is a logical result of the gameplay itself.

Well, the other Far Cry games always went for a ‘both sides are terrible’ ending, but they were never as purely nihilistic as this one. And the options it gave you were always satisfying. You killed Vaas and Hoyt and had the option to leave with your friends. Sure, you were mentally scarred but you achieved what you

I’m more upset with how the story ends. Upset as in, I’m not playing this game anymore until they patch in a new ending or release it as DLC. For gods sake, how could they not include a good ending?

I’m happy they dropped the emphasis on stealth. It was a shitty system that was completely at odds with the rest of the game. Why the hell would you design a first person shooter, give theplayer a ton of fun loud weapons to wreak havoc with, only to reward the player for not using them and instead use their knife?
