How does he get that smoking jacket on? I mean seriously? I mean, he hates humans so, robot minions?

This splash page made me an instant fan of Ethan Van Sciver’s work:
So what’s everybody’s favorite Power Ranger’s team? I always liked Mystic Force. The concept was a liiiitle different than the usual. The guys were hot (firas dirani). And there was a train zord.
Seconded. The Batman theme is fantastic, but Superman’s theme stands atop all others. It’s not any one thing that sets it apart, it’s how the whole piece gels together. For just about anybody else, it would be too much, but it’s Superman. It works.
I only partially, PARTIALLY disagree.
I can’t argue that! William’s Superman theme is just as perfect, I simply prefer Elfman’s Batman theme, as I’m a bigger fan of the character.
Because the genre itself isn’t known for single-player content. The game is clearly geared towards competitive play and the Capcom Pro Tour. The core community itself in general doesn’t give a damn about most of the missing stuff, especially since it’s being added later and the basic response to this brouhaha is that…
That opening though!!!! That's BATMAN!! That's comic Batman come to life!!!! And that last shot! Classic!
Seriously? An entire piece on Deadpool and not one mention of Deathstroke? That’s like an entire article on the Squadron Supreme or Imperial Guard and no mention or the Justice League or Legion of Superheroes. While I’ve no doubt Liefeld thinks he pulled this character out of the ether, that’s no reason for you to act…
Wrong Black Sun:
This image brightens my black heart with gladness and joy.
My friend, you hadn’t seen Ressha Sentai Tokkyuuger yet. (which will not be adapted by Saban for the next Power Rangers, instead skip ahead again to Ninninger)
Merry Xmas, Barry!!!
He’s somewhere sitting on a beach, earning 20%.
You know what, you made me think a bit what I like about Superman. And actually, it has nothing to do with his tactical ability or fighting skills, or power level. It’s about being a demigod who was raised to be as morally good and sound as possible. And I love the old Byrne and then Jurgens comics in which some of…
Unless it’s this, which would be the greatest thing ever:
So is Earth 2 basically the evil Earth in this Flash TV Arrow-verse?
Repurposing is fine — as long as it’s made clear that these elements aren’t depending on knowledge of the old EU to understand them. As far as I’m concerned, jettisoning the old EU was a logical move on Disney’s part (look at all the problems Star Trek had in the 90s because they were so bogged down by continuity).
To be clear, I’m not saying it’s a bad idea or that it couldn’t work, but, *to me,* it seems like they are trying to build it up as a mystery or a big revelation (and maybe I’m wrong, or maybe that’s just fandom), and Plageuis falls flat there.
