This game looks AWESOME! Holy crap, its like the blend of games I didn’t know I wanted. Can’t wait. 

Well they did announce that Meta accounts will go live next month. (Not) coincidentally the same time as this price hike. But really the only difference is you won’t have to have a Facebook page. It’s still an account held by the same company.

Trust or don’t care? For me and probably a lot of other people, its the latter.

I’ll start this by saying that anyone is free to feel insulted by whatever they feel insulted by. But I - an Asian-American living in a third world country - really think this criticism is stretching a bit.

I actually don’t think using a real life aesthetic makes you have “a responsibility to grapple with its history.” I see the rice hat idea is being a bit more questionable, but “they didn’t insert a painful history lesson about a real life community (that had nothing to do with the story of their game)“ is... a plus?

Yet this site name is Kotaku. If there is a sense of irony about “appropriation” being ignored here... *shrugged*

This just in! Once again Kotaku nitpicks a game everybody seems to love!

It did not “give people jobs”, they already worked there, stop giving excuses to companies, especially ones famous for mistreating their employees.

I’m not angry. I’m wryly amused at the executive of a company known for mistreating its workers using a project that is an entirely known quantity from the beginning as a disingenuous example of supposed improved working conditions as though that’s not an intentionally misleading apples/oranges comparison.

My favorite part of this whole deal is ND crowing about how this game was made “without crunch.”

You guys are as blind and funny as you try to make him seem to be. Reading this hurts my brain, like really? Everyone? You all just band together to dis this guy? Saw the tweet, saw the response, nothing there, just another person’s opinion on some topic. I have seen more provocative tweets, fb posts and whatnot than…
