Did he hurt anyone? Was there any real harm? He’s dead, let it go. Sensational journalism at its worst. Thanks.

I’m going to leave these here and shame the Jalop staff for not making these offers. . . an old Lambo, really? He said reliable.

This looks like an article Kristen Lee should have written.

Even the features he mentioned as must haves are not necessary for daily driving. I appreciate the editorial for editorial purposes served. Have a nice day.

I have a friend fighting cancer, gave me some insight to the pain shes dealing with. Thank you, we love you. Drive on lil sister!

Legal expenses insurance companies

I’d argue that a leaky sunroof/convertible can be pretty painful. Driving to work or school and getting cold water dripping on you in the dead of winter. Never mind the time of year. Getting wet inside your car while driving is the equivalent of automotive waterboarding.

I agree, Its an awful thing. Terrorists using cars. I get it. However, back your truck up on that NC protecting drivers against idiots standing in the road blocking traffic.

COTD, and I say we Ban Ballaban.

Taking this opportunity to let Michael know that MINI Coopers are awesome. And he is not.

I loooooved this car. Until I wrapped it around a tree. . . after going through the sign to an old folks home. . . I did get laid in it, while driving. So there’s that. Oh the memories.

Sounds like semantics here. . . Really Mr. Cena, you know you were wrong.

I see what you did there!

Tell us how you REALLY feel about MINI Coopers. lol

This must have been the best we could do @$kaycog

I traded in my first 2004 MINI Cooper for a 2009 when I worked at the dealership. They sent it to auction and someone local bought the car then brought it back to us to have a ton of work done to it. We became friends and I sold his parents two MINI’s. He still has my 04 and kept my original nickname for it. I always

I had a neighbor sell me his 3000gt back in the day. He took $5500 down and I paid him the additional $2000 throuhout the summer. Sadly, I crashed the car and had still owed him a good chuck of the remainder. Only had basic coverage on the car. Tough lesson to learn, but I did the right thing and paid him in full.

Well. This isn’t the NY Times or Car and Driver. We are Jalopnik. We speak in generalities and make our own assumptions based on half assed knowledge. That’s how the internet works.

There is a whole field of physics devoted to being able to distinguish how fast a car was going albeit an estimate after the crash. Based on the vehicles crumple zones and final position. Note that they do not test cars for accidents at 65 mph. . . because generally speaking, you’d die at 65 mph in a head on
