I've been playing the demo of Torchlight, and I can't put it down. It's a definite purchase when I have the money.
It's funny, a game with a 5 hour mediocre campaign and the same old multiplayer as the last game, missing features the last game had, costs millions upon millions to make. Whereas Deus Ex, a game with a a very deep story, an incredible amount of choices and tons of replay value cost under $10k to develop. Just shows…
@Bobarian: I dunno, I find the pixel art of Diablo 2 to be amazingly detailed and beautiful, even today. Just because it's not 3D, doesn't mean it's bad. Give it another shot.

@BigManMalone: What we don't like is that they stick to what makes millions, not what innovates the field. We don't like it when cookie cutter game after cookie cutter game is shoved out year after year simply to turn a profit. Some of the best games that have come out recently have been independently developed.
