I love how its been retrofitted with a different dish, since the old one was knocked off in the Battle of Endor.

The E-11 blaster rifle had a scope back in the day, it's just that no one in the movie seems to ever use them.

Whether an AK is accurate depends entirely on who made it, and how. Precision-milled AKs with match barrels are accurate a fu....they're accurate. A surplus stamped AK knockoff with a worn-out barrel, notsomuch.

You must have been a rich 19 year-old. So jealous.

My FC3S RX-7 is slowly rusting on a family friend's property as it waits for the day I return from Japan and turn it into a race car.

I'm sorry, but GoPro videos of wing suit flyers has kind of spoiled me. This was only kind of impressive.

Honestly, if I was Louis I would just Senna him in the first corner. If he loses the championship because of double points when he's consistently out-raced Nico at every turn would be a damned travesty.

That doesn't mean that they aren't circumventing the law in many cases.

Call it what you will, but ride-sharing services are just gypsy taxis with a smartphone app.

While this is probably one of the most cherry examples on the planet, in my opinion a car isn't a collector car until it costs at least as much as it did when it was new, adjusted for inflation. So if this thing goes for about $25,000 I'll say its a collector car.

Not exactly... the main problem is the exposed wheels and suspension (which is a rules problem, not a tech problem).

Open wheel cars are absurdly un-aerodynamic. If they had put bodywork on it it might have done 260+...

Education is everything. The end.

She is the God(ess) of J-Pop. Then again, that's sort of like being the world's smartest newborn baby. Her, Angela Aki and that girl from Ikimonogakari are some of the few contemporary female Japanese vocalists I respect.

It's very genre and artist specific. "Serious" works (ie, Perfect Blue) will become more and more realistic while moe (ie, K-On!) designs will become more and more neotenized, and kids shows will become more and more stylized (ala One Piece).

Japan doesn't reward drivers who drive a lot. You get a gold license so long as you renew your license twice before you have any accidents... even if you don't drive. If anything, a good chunk of the people with gold licenses are "paper drivers."

He means physical size, not displacement.

What turning radius? lol

Either site a study, or stop claiming science is on your side. In the vast amount of air incidents, it's far safer for people to follow flight crew instructions. It's also more than likely that the camera/display system would be made sufficiently redundant and decentralized that even if 70% of the system goes down,

Bullshit. The passengers don't need to assess anything. The cabin crew goes through hundreds of hours of training to asses the situation and instruct the passengers in emergencies. Its safer for everyone for passengers to just shut up and listen to instructions (which they are legally required to do anyway).
