Converting a car into the factory race car is not sacrilege. Because racecar. It would only be sacrilege if they installed Altezza lights, lambo doors, and stanced it with oni-camber..

Sorry, nope. An LS1, sure. But not a Viper motor. The S2000 is not supposed to be a rocket-powered sledgehammer, it's supposed to be more like a finely-polished Japanese sword. Adding a bajillion pounds to the front of the car (and past the front axle no less) will ruin the handling.
Because German/Italian.
Somehow I don't think there's any way in hell you can fund an F1 team (any more) selling 7,000 cars a year. Oh wait, that's because you can't. Most of the money comes from merchandising and sponsorship. If anything, the cars are just a marketing exercise to increase the brand value, more than any attempt to make money…
I'm going to be smiling high and mighty if it turns out Hellcats only last for ~60,000 miles on average.
I don't find the power odd, just the fact that he/she is advertising it.
Sorry, but 10 to 1 odds it's not a drift car. Although I like that the driver had the gall to put stickers claiming 519 HP on the bumper...
IMO as long as its done tastefully and professionally I'd rather buy modified...saves a lot of time and money. At the very least, I'd want gauges, bushings, some decent coilovers and a clutch-pack LSD.
I thought you said this was your first time.
I'd rather be driving whichever one makes better lap times.
IIRC I could have sworn most of the guys were either yakuza or they were the ones producing the videos.
A Mini is incomplete until it is a race car.
Contrary to popular belief, the majority of these sorts of cars are owned by lawyers, doctors, and business owners, not by self-taught IT tycoons, rappers, and professional athletes.
More than likely its because carbon fiber is (probably) more flammable than steel and aluminum. Mix that with high-strung engines and lots of heat sources and you get cars that tend to explode.
What's almost more impressive than the crash itself is the amount of air he caught from what looks like only about 100 MPH (although its super impossible to judge speed on camera... F1 cars look like they're doing about 100 when they're doing 200). Aerodynamics, indeed!
Medical bills can destroy lives and ruin families....in America. And only America.
Lots of power, and LSD, and LSD.
I don't intend to argue for or against the existence of (a) god (or gods), or heaven and hell, but every theistic religion is superduper absurd when taken at face value.
The bible is full of contradictions, absurdities, injustice, cruelty, and violence... I guarantee that you and your denomination pick and choose the parts you wish to follow as you please, at least a little.
