I’m not totally convinced Avery’s not innocent (although I don’t have much of an opinion one way or another), but I’m also in the “Brendan had nothing to do with it” camp. What happened to that poor kid broke my heart.

I also truly feel bad for Beernsten, the rape victim. She did nothing wrong and was failed by the justice system as well.

One person I truly feel bad for in this is Brendan Dassey. This kid was unbelievably failed by those who were supposed to protect him and I do not believe he should be in jail. I hope that if anything comes from this, Brendan gets a shot a new trial.
