My middle schoolers know I play video games. I even have an after school video / iPad skills elective. Some were shocked to know I had spent over a 1000 hours on Skyrim and Fallout games. Somethings -looting becomes mechanical and stat-boosting becomes addictive over time.

Mmmm, similar science was applied when I lived in Hong Kong. Chinese tv would routinely have at least one dance / variety number of which someone -usually slightly ‘overweight’ didn’t know the steps or the routine.
