Watched it at the time. Faux docs were still a rarity then and I often find myself thinking of this one. Premise and ‘punch’ at the end (the products), still carry a lot of weight.

The right theme and montage works well. Star Trek Enterprise was scorned and they reworked the song’s vocals over the seasons. However it is famous for featuring original Mars exploration footage.
Netflix is dumbing down their audience with a thumbs up/down mentality. Where’s the shade or nuance to that?
Good to know. Have noticed Netflix does the same things but for bandwidth concens?
Heard this would happen in election cycles -as a way to compensate for lost revenue during debates etc.
