I can't spoil this show, because I haven't seen any more of it than you have. The comics are a very different thing that have definitely inspired the show but are not any sort of reliable guide to what will happen in it. It's already enormously different to a greater extent than things like The Expanse or American

The Saint pops up pretty early in the comics. I think in the opening arc. And even after that has plenty to do, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I was gonna say.

The Voice absolutely works on the Saint in the comics. The thing is, he's basically a walking incarnation of incredibly lethal rage, so he is not okay with that at all and makes it very clear that now that he knows it's coming, he can just shoot Jesse before the words come out of his mouth. Not sure if they've changed

You maybe oughta read up on painkiller addiction before you scoff so much. It's a storyline I certainly hope we won't be seeing, but they're extremely habit-forming.

It doesn't take that much, really.

I wouldn't describe it as different directions, at least so far. The basic narrative arc remains intact. Mainly, they've been expanding some characters' roles and adding others. They could certainly decide to sideline Mr. Nancy, but I don't know why they would.

I was so happy when I realized they'd cast Jeremy Davies as Jesus.

He has one of the largest roles in the book outside of Shadow and Wednesday, so I think that's a safe bet.

That's the thing, though. It was never doing bad things because you have no other choice. As we learn over the course of the show, Walt had plenty of other choices but his ego and seething resentment got in the way of making them. It was never -really- doing bad things to provide, either, although certainly Walt

I really don't like anything that's happening on this show right now. I just want to shake everyone and make them make better choices.

I really don't think Breaking Bad wanted anyone rooting for Walt. The show is all about peeling back the layers to reveal how awful a human being he is. Honestly, he's not even that likable early on, but I hated him by the end. But I watched, because it was compelling television, extremely well made. And I did care

I feel like being able to mark something "god this was awful I never want to see anything like it ever again" would be a good counterpoint to "have watched this" as a datapoint, but otherwise I agree.

I was surprised to get this far without any complaints about the complete lack of plot movement in this episode. I enjoyed it a great deal, but that part is kind of a weird choice for the 7th of 8 episodes this season, and it's already not a very fast moving show.

Can't argue with you there, really.

Isn't the idea that the grades are given in context of that particular show and not on a larger continuum?

Sure. But Trump was elected. There is no reason he should have been electable, but it happened. There is no inherent reason to think that his many failings in the role, most of which were manifestly obvious prior to the election, will prevent him from being re-elected, any more than George W. Bush's incredible and

You have way more faith in American voters and our electoral system than I think is actually deserved.

You won't generally just see them flying around, but in a warm area with something to eat…y'never know.

That'd be my guess.
