Yeah I did a double take when I read "suffocating her." Suffocating was what Zaheer did to the Earth Queen and it was terrifying because he used airbending. Suyin managed to off P'Li in a way even more awesome than Sokka's killing of Combustion Man.

I thought so too, especially how quick they panned away from her once her head got wrapped up. First time I saw I that I though "wow that is really hardcore for a Nick show." Either way, it was a great ending and I honestly like the online format more. I think it will give the show some breathing room to push the

I'm fairly certain that P'Li actually blew her own head off. Su encased her head in metal after she had already started her attack. You can see the explosion happening right here within her new "helmet." And when Zaheer turns around and reacts, you can see a pillar of smoke coming off the battlefield.

What about the people who complained about their skyline being ruined when those churches, cathedrals , and mosques were built.

Yep - some of them are nice.
But refusing to allow anything appear within the same view of them is ridiculous.
Maybe the solution is to just make the new buildings a bit more sympathetic. Those skyscrapers in Istanbul are simply fuggly. Putting aside the Blue Mosque - why anybody would let those be built anywhere is

Alucard from Hellsing crashes a fucking SR-71 Blackbird onto an aircraft carrier and emerges not just unharmed, but with his clothes still intact.

I was really disappointed how unsophisticated the politics after the great District 9. It still works as an 80s style Sci Fi/Action movie but I was hoping for more substance.

I just stopped watching when they found the prison. I knew that they wouldn't even touch half of that part of the story.

I had such high hopes for this, and stuck around for hoping they'd return to what it so good in the beginning.

Mass Effect. So much promise and then the last 10 minutes of Mass Effect 3 happened.

Heroes.

First episode was pretty awesome. Nearly every single episode afterward has not been awesome. At all.

And how all the science fiction from 1935 to the 50s is now being called "tubepunk." And don't get me started on dieselpunk.

Honesty, I stopped worrying about it after cyberpunk.

"Clearly, next week is when things are going to kick into high gear!" the last three episodes of The Strain. I feel stupid for saying it yet again...

To call it slow would be an insult to snails and tortoises.

I'm just glad when the fighting was going down that Tenzin was more than a match for Zaheer and his somehow masterful use of Airbending he only got a few weeks ago. In the end it took the entire 4 man group with the Combustion bender sniping from the sky to stop Tenzin, and until he was sniped, he still showed he

Can we acknowledge that the best scene this season is when Bolin fanboys all over Zuko?

I can't believe you didn't even mention the showdown between the 2 Airbenders. Tenzin's response to Zaheer's threat was one of the most bad-ass things I've ever witnessed and was, in my opinion, one of the most powerful scenes in EITHER of the 2 series.

My God, this season is so much better than any other season of Korra (and maybe even better than some of ATLA), it's not even funny. I've always enjoyed Korra, but this is the first time in the entire Avatar franchise that major characters appear to actually be in danger.
