When your trailer is nothing but a dig at Marvel and DC and is still probably the best of E3 so far.
It’s kind of the realization of the concerns people had way back when Microsoft first announced the original Xbox: that they would eventually lead consoles into a convergence with PCs. Some people scoffed at the idea then, but now it’s happening.
I’m not a fan. I like the unique identity that consoles have historically…
I agree. The engine is terribly optimized.
Getting pretty sick of Bethesda making very good games and routinely making reasonable statements to the press about expectations. I can’t stomach this much goodwill.
I get the feeling they’re trying to appease to westerners which apparently for many Japanese devs translates to bland art direction.
People said literally the exact same thing about it last E3. I honestly wouldn’t hold my breath.
not really his point. His point was, if you develop a game for the Scorpio, are you really going to optimize it for older Xbone models specs or just put in a low graphics mode you know the older boxes can run and call it a day?
Big fan of Platinum but......that character design is bad bad bad (the headphones....ugh). The enemy design was very uninspiring too.
They can say it all they want but it doesn’t make it true for the long term of even one year. If you can’t see the possible issues this will cause or has caused in the past that is on you not me. Take the word of Microsoft all you want it means dick.
It really does and I personally have no interest in the game. It was just painful to watch.
This is a terrible idea and will only serve to divide the player base. Developers will have to choose between developing between one or the other due the money required to do so. Plus it is midway into a console generation and I wonder if this was a partial response to Nintendo doing 4k finally and first.
Meh. This semi-new-console concept is making me yawn and want to go back to PC gaming full-time.
Read: We fucked up Xbox One horribly, so here’s our do-over, only three years later.
Screw you early adpoters!
P.S. Also, we’re cribbing Sony’s “developers talk about our console” montage.
Yeah I think Kamiya looked at DmC Dante and said “so that’s what the people of the west like”.
The art direction does seem really bland next to Kamiya’s other games.
Looks pretty great but holy cow is that main character annoying.
It looks generic as fuck. It is very pretty looking so the world looks fakish and not in a good way. Plus the hero is such a pretty boy that has cringe worthy dialogue. It really needed to be an older guy or something. Just terrible.
I have absolutely no idea what’s going on in this fight
The animations seem a little...
