Honestly, as a power/heavy user, I don't think you need to install anything. Just make sure "Unknown sources" isn't selected in your security settings and make sure "Verify apps" is selected in the same settings and you honestly should be good. Especially if you're solely downloading from the Play Store. Just as a

At the end of the day this article covers all the main points a lot of uninformed people seem to miss and then cry "ANDROID HAZ MALWARE OMG" over.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? ; )

Not really. You can try some of the more popular file managers like Astro and ES, they allow you to incorporate said accounts into them for easy access, but it doesn't combine the space across them. I don't think there's any that do what I'm understanding you want them to do.

It really seems like you're trying too hard to I don't know what. May I suggest some kind of surgery is in order to remove the stick that is lodged where the sun obviously doesn't shine.

I'm recommending your comment for two reasons. 1. Your username. My last name is Luna, which is Spanish for "moon" and all my friends call me Moon. 2. ECS-branded cases for tablets and phones. I would totally buy them if they sold them. But if they decide to make them and give a few out to us people leaving comments,

I am antechie and an IT guy, this seems like overkill to me.

Recommended launchers for customizing tend to be either Apex Launcher or Nova Launcher. Personally, I recommend Nova Launcher. (Be sure to get the paid version, as it really lets you do way more stuff than the free version.)

The Xposed framework will work on any device. However, some of the modules are specifically tailored to certain types of phones/tablets (the Wanam one being made specifically for Samsung devices). For more info on what specifically might be tailored to certain devices you need to visit the XDA forums. MoDaCo's Toolkit

Okay, you be crazy. For numerous reasons. Firstly because the point is the Xposed framework needs root to do a lot of what it does. Admin rights basically. Xposed isn't something the average person would want to use and there's potential, like with any root requiring app, to seriously mess things up depending on what

I've got Kaspersky on my Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga (11' inch) and from pushing power to being in and using Windows it's also well under 10 seconds.

Staged rollout. Visit Android Police, the apk is already up for download there. Saves time, already installed it myself.

Well, I'm a Tasker user, but I already installed this to start tinkering around with it. I can say without a doubt it is much more user friendly. In addition to which it is incredibly easy to setup. Geofencing is enabled/native to the Nexus 4 as well, just FYI.

What kind of phone is it? Specifically. I've used Hangouts on numerous devices (phones and tablets) and never once has it crashed.

[looks at phone that's had Cerberus installed FOR AGES and could do this] See how what feels? Excuse me I need to copy/paste something on my device that's been able to do that from the get go. : P

I could almost accept that as a logical progression except for one minor caveat. The majority of people in theaters are NOT taking out their cell phones, not talking on their cell phones and not texting or in any way using their cell phones the moment they step into a theater, much less take their seats.

It's not the nature of theater going that is changing but the people who are going who are changing. They now have technology in their pockets they previously didn't have, which is evolving at a rapid pace. Sadly, theater etiquette has taken a backseat to self indulgence and selfishness that comes with such technology.

This. The problem is people are inconsiderate at the theater nowadays.

How is it evolving? The theater is not a place where one should be taking calls or sending text messages or even pulling out your phone for any reason. At least not without stepping outside of the actual theater that is. Why? Because it isn't proper theater etiquette and it's purely selfish people who use their phones
