@quickbird: I agree as well. As much as I have a bone to pick with the hipster look and American Apparel - for LA it is nice to see a flat chested girl with mundane but feminine clothes and big cheesy glasses being the new hot - as opposed to a Pam Anderson.

Really ridiculous to think this is where some people will get their sole information about Japanese fashion... trying to pin that shit down is like calculus.

Knowing that these people are breeding makes me want to have kids just to balance out the stupid. I would like to see these people survive in the real world... that is all.

At the startof this trend (before the screen printed shits, etc.) perhaps it was an artistic nod of respect by the wearer (this was a trend in the 60's too), however misguided that may be. White people in this country by-and-large have white guilt, nothing new about that - but also a degree of wanting to be like a

hey she looks good, she snapped back and looking at her thinking maybe i can too.... (winter weight is blah)

@SurferWomyn: I noticed that misconception as well. Though to be fair, Morocco has gotten more conservative about those things in some areas and it can be an uncomfortable experience for some, nothing like the Arabian peninsula though.

All my groups of friends are very into tattoos, I have a hard time of thinking of anyone within those groups without a tattoo, and every man I've dated has coincidentally had at least one, usually sleeves. Sometimes I feel like the only person in the world without a tattoo, and now that I'm 27 I'm glad I don't have
