Rachel's a smart woman. She did just have her monitor/boy-toy horribly stabbed in her own living room, so it makes sense that she's doubling down on her efforts to get Sarah through whatever means necessary. I like that she's willing to go dark to accomplish her goals. Hopefully, we'll soon get some more insight into

Be careful! MRA are like Beetlejuice, you say their name three times and they show up out of nowhere.

“I don’t care about Paul. He doesn’t matter anymore.” — Sarah, speaking for all of us.

You know Tina would be a superfan of this show. That five-some a couple of weeks back was straight out of one of Tina's erotic dreams.

Well, Hannibal didn't think Mason was worth eating either. That's why he made Mason feed his face to the dogs.

I also like the final product. I think leaving so many details in shadows draws you into the scene in a way that a more revealing scene wouldn't accomplish. The sound work ends up doing most of the work anyways: it fills all the little details under shadows.

The stuff about Standard and Practices is always fascinating. Interesting that they objected to the duration of the opening scene and not Mason's face-off. I guess I can see how some people might be offended by Hannibal gushing all over Will's face.

Grossest thing in the entire episode.

Same!

I know. He's like Hannibal's secret weapon. Looking through the credits I see that he also directed the mushroom-people episode and Relevés in Season 1, both of which I loved.

The gays are trying to take everything away. Gladiator sandals are totally straight.

That and all the Patroclus and Achilles talk. The homoeroticism is textual at this point.

I love how Hannibal just closes his eyes right after that because otherwise he'll kill him right then and there.

Same here. I think it had something to do with the facial mutilation.

I was so happy when she showed up. I was thinking @icecreamplanet:disqus is going to love this.

It was definitely one of the most playful ones they've done. Compare this one to the more "straight-forward" one they did with Will and the strobe light earlier in the season. I'm just glad the show's willing to take chances with sequences like this.

The FCC rules will never not baffle me.

Oh, my DVR recording cut off before the promo. Given that the plan with Mason didn't quite work as intended, Jack as the bait will have to do. I'm just glad they're not using Alana as the bait, even though I'm sure she'll find herself in danger next week.

Yeah, but the first few sentences usually show up in your RSS headline whether you click on it or not.

It's really an easily avoided problem. Just move the spoiler a couple of sentences down. And yet, every week, the big spoiler is on the first sentence. I'm not really bothered by it because I watch it live, but it sucks for other commenters.
