I'll allow it. (Also take into consideration salmon-ladder climbing ability).

When she said that I said to myself: "worst.simile.ever."
Interesting that you mention Breaking Bad as I always watch "Crawl Space" when I'm in the mood for an old BB episode. I prefer that one to both "End Times" and "Face Off". You can make the argument that "Crawl Space" is place-setting for things that happen in both "End Times" and "Face Off"
Yeah Faith was all screwed up even before "The Slayer Powers" were bestowed upon her. Sara also doesn't have crippling daddy issues.
I think it's important to note that two out of those three movies with male leads were pre-existing properties with an established set of characters. Not unlike the new Star Wars (although this new movie includes a whole slew of new characters).
They are all available for free on YouTube. Here's a link:
The ever reliable eros + thanatos.
Of course. But I'm sure many women find it hard to write from a male perspective as well (although so much of our literature/culture is based on a male perspective that a male POV at this point is far more accessible or easy to imitate than a female one.) The problem remains that the industry hires more male writers…
Let's just say fedoras are involved.
But the Bechdel test is not about the objectification of women at all, so you are free to objectify women (and men) in movies that pass the test.

I would add news reporting but then I remember that CNN's still botching all reporting on the MH370 flight and it makes me sad that Starling City's Channel 52 is at least as competent as CNN.
PHRASING!
To think of what C.C.H. Pounder could have done with the role. Casting someone of her stature would probably also mean that they would have to have The Wall featured in more episodes, which isn't a bad thing at all.
I'm also totally down for a Felicity/Sin subplot.
Nor does she have his lips. A shame really.
Yeah she's low-hanging fruit for a joke (I myself have indulged many times), but Katie Cassidy's acting abilities aside Laurel's role in the second half of the season has been an improvement. I personally didn't dislike her in Season 1 as she was was more directly involved in Oliver's arc. Her character arc has been…
It is kind of embarrassing that a CW-budgeted TV Show has better action scenes than the Nolan Bat-movies. For all the virtues of those movies, action scenes are not Nolan's forte. He has no idea how to stage or shoot them for clarity….or excitement.
Ma, they done killed old Lando.
You're a meme, mam.
