How awesome was it that the return of Miriam Lass on Hannibal coincides with the return of Veep on HBO. Everything's coming up Chlumsky!

Netflix would be a great avenue for the show, but I don't know how I feel about seeing the show all at once. One of my favorite parts of the show is discussing it with the commentariat here on a weekly basis and Hannibal it's one of those shows that really benefits from being analyzed and discussed at length. I feel…
Will Graham has a good day… almost.
We are back to doing phrasing?
That Hannibal sure has a humerus side to him that Dexter never did.
Here's hoping Matthew Brown is involved in the threesome. Can you imagine Matthew, Hannibal, and Will? I wouldn't be able to recover.
I completely forgot about that. Wow!
One of us!
I'm still not sure that your assertion it's incorrect. I don't know much about the cannon, but the way he's been portrayed on this show seems to justify the belief that he's asexual. Also, his relationship with Alana seems passionless to me, which is either the point (given that he's using her for his own nefarious…
Also avoid episode descriptions on your TV at all costs. The description for next week's episode, completely ruined tonight's cliffhanger.
Enlightened is an apt comparison, the show's made the leap from really good to unmissable. I think Arrested Development was more or less deemed a classic from the get go, and many people still think of its first season as the best.
Stop these vulgar fisticuffs at once. It's beneath us.
I loved that Alana instantly knew which 2 instruments he would be composing for, as if having a theremin is the most common thing in the world.
That would be hilarious, but we know that's just not true. A man who can put such complicated, delicate hors d'oeuvre together has to at least be amazing with his fingers.
That man's got bars!
I don't know if agree with this take, although it brings up some interesting points. To me, Hannibal's actions this episode suggests that he thinks that Will and him will never have a true friendship (mainly because in a friendship between these two, one person would always have to be on higher standing). Will's…
That was another great moment that shows how Fuller has fully committed to the ridiculousness/theatricality of the show's murders and decided to have a little fun with it. If we are going to be dealing with such horrific acts on a weekly basis, might as well bring in some physical comedy to lighten things up.
I like that we found out Hannibal is an environmentalist. Destroying the habitat of endangered species is rude, even Jimmy seemed to agree.
I thought it was a visualization of Dr. Chilton's omnipresence in the hospital. The man is all-hearing and a snitch (thus the rat). Btw, how great was Raul Esparza in this episode? He's been hitting it out of the park in the last few, but last night he actually had me laughing out loud.
Is this building up to be the best sophomore season of a show ever, or at least among the top ones? I would say yes, and if they don't drop the ball in the second half, it's going to be glorious.
